As a veteran owned and operated clinic, Apex Psychiatric Services is now proud to be part of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Patient-Centered Community Care (PC3) / Veterans Choice Program (VCP) network. This program may be utilized by veterans if the VA is not capable of providing the care needed. When this occurs, the VA provides care to veterans through community providers in the PC3 network at no cost to the veteran. The veteran wishing to utilize this program must go through the VA to obtain a referral and subsequent authorization for treatment in the community network. The PC3 contract is currently managed through TriWest. Unfortunately, the providers at Apex cannot provide care or schedule an appointment for the veteran wishing to utilize this program until the authorization for treatment has been sent to us by TriWest. Any veteran may establish care at Apex utilizing our regular fee schedule, but the VA will not pay for the services unless the veteran follows the appropriate process set forth by the VA prior to treatment.
